About Me
As a doctor that is also on healing path as a patient, I've come to learn that health is a continuous process we practice daily, that is enhanced by our self-knowledge, our sense of coherence with who we truly are and our capacity to manage our stress and emotional waves that are inherent to being human in modern times.
Therefore, my work is based on imparting education about food science, the body, the mind and the environment, sharing practical tools to create a more conscious and vibrant lifestyle long-term. My health has only changed when I changed what I was putting inside my body as well as my daily habits. Because I've been living an ayurvedic, yogui, conscious-oriented lifestyle over the past 13 years, I know changing it's not easy… and yet it's fully possible.
Trajectory
At the core of all my endeavors lies a commitment to promoting well-being through thoughtful choices, purifying the body, mind, and spirit, harmonizing with the natural rhythm, and nurturing self-awareness and autonomy in health.
For the past 16 years, I've dedicated myself to the realms of health, well-being, and mindfulness, aiding people in identifying factors disrupting their balance and imparting wisdom on how to attend to the body's needs, integrating mindful eating and healthy habits. My journey as a medical professional commenced in 2013, with the initial two years devoted to serving within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) at Basic Health Units and Emergency Care Units. Since 2014, I've been conducting a private clinical practice centered on an approach guided by the principles of integrative medicine.
Having conducted numerous individual and group in-person consultations, I've shared insights on cultivating a life infused with energy, connection, and heightened awareness. My educational pursuits have taken me to the United States to delve into Functional Medicine and Integrative Nutrition, and further to India, where I immersed myself in the profound wisdom of Ayurveda, an ancient medical system from India. Embracing a nomadic lifestyle for several years, I maintain a clinical base in São Paulo while traveling around the world, visiting sacred sites, studying, teaching and facilitating retreats focused on well-being and spirituality.
I cherish freedom, place spirituality as a priority, and have been embracing the path of Yoga and Ayurveda for 13 years. Passionate about exploring the world and different cultures, I engage in conversations in Portuguese, English, and Spanish in my daily life.
I'm crazy about chocolate and have a big preference for eating and cooking healthy, fresh, and plant-based meals. Reading and studying bring me immense joy, alongside dancing and walking. Comfortable silence is a space I often find solace in.
Striving for a simpler life with less haste, and more room for rest, I practice autonomy in health, time management, work, household responsibilities, and relationships. Spontaneity, authenticity, connection, care, curiosity, and gratitude are the values I strive to embody in every aspect of my life. Actively participating in circles and spending more time in nature form essential parts of my dedication.
