"Health is a daily practice"

Marcella

How I work:

The care methodology I employ in Integrative Health aims to uncover the root cause of illnesses through a comprehensive approach, involving thorough health history analysis of health concerns and goals unique to each person. This meticulous process is dedicated to identifying and eliminating epigenetic factors detrimental to health, such as inflammatory foods, toxic metals in water, incompatible foods, parasites, cosmetics, cleaning and personal hygiene products, as well as electromagnetic pollution and radiation.

My primary objective in these sessions is to provide a holistic perspective, considering the complete well-being of each person. Ultimately, my goal is to furnish the people that come to me with insights into their elemental bio-individual profile, highlight organs and systems that need attention, and propose a personalized Health and Wellness Plan for ongoing care tailored to their unique bodily needs.

After having a first Wellness coaching session it will be indicated approximately how long we can be working together to achieve optimal health. It can go from 3 months to 6 months to over a year, dependending on where each person is in their health journey at the moment we begin working together.

What is Integrative Health?

Integrative health is a healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. It recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit and seeks to address the root causes of illnesses rather than merely treating symptoms. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and client, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapies.

The Circle of Life

Health and Well-being encompasses a range of pillars in our lives, from primary food, to secondary foods. The Circle of Life allows us to have a perspective on how our relationship with each area is impacting us as a whole.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient system of holistic medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It is based on the belief that balance is essential for good health and that imbalances in the body's doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) lead to illness. Ayurvedic medicine employs a personalized approach, considering an individual's unique constitution, or prakriti, and aims to restore balance through lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, herbal remedies, and therapeutic practices. Ayurveda emphasizes the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit in maintaining overall health.

Salutogenesis

Salutogenesis is a concept that is relevant in my practice, and it was coined by the medical sociologist Aaron Antonovsky. It comes from the Latin word "salus," meaning health, and "genesis," meaning origin or creation. I see salutogenesis as a concept that focuses on factors that promote and maintain health, rather than solely on factors that cause disease (pathogenesis). In other words, it explores the origins and causes of health, seeking to understand how individuals or communities can develop and maintain a state of well-being.

I resonate with Antonovsky's proposed "Sense of Coherence" (SOC) theory as a central component of salutogenesis. The Sense of Coherence refers to one's capacity to comprehend, manage, and find meaning in life's challenges. According to Antonovsky, a strong sense of coherence contributes to develop the ability to effectively cope with stressors and maintain good health.
